A little background on Lahore:

The second-largest city in Pakistan, Lahore has an estimated population of 13.5 million (as of 2022, source). Lahore is considered the cultural heart of the country, as it‘s a hub of arts, cuisine, festivals, filmmaking, music and academics. The city has been essential to Pakistan‘s history as well -- Pakistan‘s Declaration of Independence was passed here. Upon achieving independence, Lahore was the largest city in the country at the time and is only 20 miles east of Pakistan‘s largest rival, India.
